Easy parking now available in Melville

The City of Melville is excited to announce a new electronic option for parking payments, giving motorists, visitors, workers and shoppers the added option to pay for parking via their phones when visiting Melville.

City of Melville Mayor Russell Aubrey said the new parking by phone service, provided by EasyPark, offered motorists a smart, fast and flexible way to pay for parking.

“The best thing about EasyPark is that you only pay for your expected parking duration by setting it, and then stopping it when you return to your vehicle,” Mayor Aubrey said.
“Simply download the app and register, park your vehicle, enter the EasyPark area code found on the side of the parking machine and select your parking time. You can extend or stop your parking on the go to suit your schedule.

“There is no need to carry coins and cards or worry about lost tickets. This app is like having your own parking meter on your phone and you only pay for parking you use and you also get a reminder when your parking session is about to expire.

“EasyPark is successfully used in other councils and businesses throughout Australia and abroad, which means motorists can also use their EasyPark app as they move around the metropolitan area within the Cities of Vincent, Subiaco, South Perth and the Town of Cambridge.”

Register for the service online, download the app or call the EasyPark customer service team on 1300 734 070. Once registered, motorists can then use the EasyPark app or call the service number to pay for parking. EasyPark bills the parking fees straight to your credit or debit card.

All other parking methods are still available.

EasyPark users still need to comply with time limits as detailed by location signage.
